Home theater with variable cable length / sizes

Hello, I bought a 2nd hand Home Theater (it's a Sony Muteki HT-M55, I know is not the best but I'm happy with it) and the previous owner had the brillant idea of cutting the wires and replacing them with his own.

It's a 5.2.

This is what I have now on each speaker:

(on front speakers and subwoofer there is only 1 change in diameter)
These are the diameters and lengths of each:

Front Left:
*Lengths: 10cm -> 400cm = 4.1m
*Diameters: 1.5mm -> 2mm

Front Right:
*Length: 7cm -> 300cm = 3.07m
*Diameters: 1.5mm -> 2mm

Center:
*Lengths: 10cm -> 120cm -> 40cm = 1.7m
*Diameters: 1.5mm -> 2mm -> 1.5mm

Rear Left:
*Lengths: 10cm -> 460cm -> 8cm = 4.78m
*Diameters: 1.5mm -> 2mm -> 1.5mm

Rear Right:
*Lengths: 5cm -> 503cm -> 10cm = 5.18m
*Diameters: 1.5mm -> 2mm -> 1.5mm

Subwoofer 1:
*Lengths: 10cm -> 234cm = 2.44m
*Diameters: 1.5mm -> 2mm

Subwoofer 2:
*Lengths: 14cm -> 267cm = 2.81m
*Diameters: 1.5mm -> 2mm

My questions are:
1. Should all Lengths be the same? or that's only for same type of speaker? (front left = front right ||| rear left = rear right ||| subwoofer 1 = subwoofer 2)

2. Are the diameters fine?

3. Is it okay that it changes diameter in the "middle" section? (this is because these cables have a connector that I cannot find here in my country and buying the "original" cables would cost me like 10% the price of the Home Theater which I cannot afford)

4. Am I missing something that should be done to improve quality? (I know this Home Theater is not Hi-Fi but I don't want to ruin its sound quality doing something wrong)

Thanks in advance.

1. Over the range used, the different lengths are inconsequential.
2. Within the range of wire diameters used, yes.
3. Changing diameters is of no significant consequence.
4. Yes. Use a single run of wire without splices for each speaker. It is the unnecessary intervening connections which are likely to give you trouble down the road.
